There is a point between awake and asleep where our conscious and unconscious minds overlap. If we can stay alert through this doorway we will slip into a lucid dream. Its not as hard as it sounds but it does take some practice. Just close your eyes and focus on the images that appear in your mind as you sink towards sleep.

The blurry fuzzy lights behind your closed eyelids will start to form into shapes and scenes as your third eye begins to open. Just relax and watch the shapes as they come and go. There is no need to try too hard, just watch and stay awake. The more you practise this the stronger your third eye vision will become, until you start to see visions very quickly. Watch the visions become clearer and clearer until they are perfectly defined, like you are looking through a window. These images are called 'hypnagogia.' You can now step through the window and into the dream realm, remaining aware that you are inside a dream.

This meditation will guide you through the hypnagogic doorway:
I highly recommend to listen to it in the early morning, the dreaming hours, between 4 and 7 am (depending on your dream cycle). Enjoy your beautiful dreams...
